Plan Change 15 - Massey North - to be made Operative

Plan Change 36 - Rural Activities and Social, Cultural and Economic Wellbeing of the People and Communities in the Waitākere Ranges Heritage Area - to be made Operative.

In accordance with Clause 20 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991, Plan Change 15 and Plan Change 36 are to become operative on 21 October 2013.

Parts of Plan Change 15 were made partially operative on 4 November 2011, 6 July 2012 and 9 November 2012. At its meeting on 19 September 2013 the Regional Development and Operations Committee resolved to approve the remainder of Plan Change 15 by inclusion of amendments to policies, rules and the District Plan maps for Precinct E of Massey North. Plan Change 15 - Massey North to the Auckland Council District Plan (Waitākere Section) is now fully operative.

At its meeting on 20 June 2013 the Council resolved to approve Plan Change 36 - Rural Activities and Social, Cultural and Economic Wellbeing of the People and Communities in the Waitākere Ranges Heritage Area which applies to the Waitākere Ranges Heritage Area.

Plan Change 15 and Plan Change 36 amends the Auckland Council District Plan (Waitākere Section) by inclusion of the new policies, new rules, amendments to operative rules and amendments to the District Plan maps.

The Auckland District Plan (Waitākere Section) text and maps are hereby amended to implement this Plan Changes 15 and Plan Change 36.

A copy of the Plan Changes may be viewed at the Civic Centre, 6 Henderson Valley Road, Henderson and all Waitākere City Libraries (Glen Eden, Henderson, Massey, New Lynn, Ranui, Te Atatu Peninsula, and Titirangi).
