Auckland Council invites submissions or objections from persons with an interest in the Puhoi Pioneers Memorial Park, Puhoi.

Puhoi Pioneers Memorial Park contains 41.988 hectares and comprises ten parcels of land. The reserve land is held in fee simple by the council under the provisions of Reserves Act 1977 and the Local Government Act 2002.

Auckland Council proposes to grant two new community non-exclusive licences to occupy to The Puhoi Community Forum Incorporated with provision for a sublicence to occupy to a grazier on Lots 1 and 3 DP 199344 and Pt MBlk Okahu ML 86. The terms of the proposed licences to occupy are five years with one five-year right of renewal and would be issued under section 73(1) of the Reserves Act 1977 and the Local Government Act 2002, respectively. New community licences to occupy with provision for a sub-licence will allow the community forum and the grazier continued occupation of and activities
undertaken on the land.

Any person wishing to make a submission in respect of the above proposals is
required to lodge this in writing to Karen Walby, Community Lease Advisor,
Auckland Council, Private Bag 92300, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142 no
later than 5pm Thursday 5 October 2017. Alternatively, submissions may be emailed to Karen Walby.
