Health and safety plan

When you plan an event you are responsible for the safety of everyone at the event.

When we receive your application we will tell you if there are any health and safety requirements for your event.

Insurance and bonds

Depending on the size of your event, you may be required to have insurance to protect people and property.

Public liability insurance

Your event facilitator will tell you if you need insurance.

Damage bonds

If your event will be in an Auckland Council venue, you might need to pay a bond. The bond will cover potential costs of repairing any damage or clean up if the area is not left in the way it was found.
