Fees and charges

If you are booking a venue that Auckland Council does not manage, you will need to contact the venue to find out about fees and charges.

You will see on the venue details page under How to book whether or not we manage the venue.

When you find and view the venue details, you will see the fees and charges.

Additional charges

If you are planning to have food or alcohol at your event, you will need to pay additional charges for cleaning and security.


  • Venue capacity of up to 100 - $80
  • Venue capacity of 101 or more - $110


  • Patrol guard - $90 (mandatory if there is alcohol at the venue)
  • Static guard - $30 per hour (optional)

The room hire rate is based on the day of the week and time of day.
