Procurement strategy and policy

Auckland Council has developed a new procurement strategy and policy to align with the driving principles of the Auckland Plan. 

The policy provides clear information to staff, suppliers, contractors and the community on what is important to the council, including the achievement of best value for goods, services or works.

The strategy and policy are mandatory for all council procurement.

Council Controlled Organisations are requested to ensure their procurement strategies are consistent with Auckland Council.
