Annual reports

Historic annual reports

The annual report sets out what council has achieved in the last year and looks at the progress made against the long-term council community plan (long-term plan) and annual plan.

Under the Local Government Act all councils are required to produce an annual report, and to have financial and performance information audited.

Auckland Council’s annual report, for its first eight months since establishment, details the projects, services and activities that were carried out from 1 November 2010 to 30 June 2011, as well as the challenges Auckland Council faced as it bedded down the new combined organisation.

It also includes financial and non-financial statements, showing council’s performance against the budget and non-financial measures set out in the 2010-19 Long-term Plan it inherited from the Auckland Transition Agency.
